There is a time to say: ‘’Goodbye’’ and time to open a new chapter in everybody’s life…

Dear All,

For past 4 years you have been seeing me on-line and off-line promoting and cheering on behalf of Connecting Women as their PR Coordinator.

The time has came to make a painful and adult decision and to step out from the position, as much as enjoyable and energizing it was.

I decided to focus on my business, on my Career & Life Coaching, therefore you will for sure not miss me as you will still see me promoting and cheering, however this time on behalf of myself and JO(B)ANNA.

You always can contact me via: Facebook or LinkedIn as well as via mail:, in case you do need a coach and / or simply a nice, friendly chat with a cup of coffee or tea.

Or, you can follow me on my blog:, to get inspired and motivated.

There are times in our life when we do need to make a complex decision in order to be able to grow and to benefit in the future. The time has come for me and I wish to invest in myself, so others can benefit from it as well as a future clients of mine. Fulfill and happy coach will bring and give you far more for sure…

It was an intensive and creative time spent with Connecting Women. I have met so many people (as during networking outside CW I have also met nice men who were willing to cheer for the organization), thanks to whom I have grown and saw people, life, work and business in different perspective and for that I wish to thank you all.

You are beautiful and  stimulating humans, who are the biggest inspiration and teachers on this planet – thank you all!!!

I have met some incredible people, I have developed and made some important, life changing decisions due to encouragement I have received from some CW members.

The most significant one was to start my own business as a Career & Life Coach at – each time I meet and help new person I know I am on the right path.

I wish you all to fulfill your destiny and dreams!

Dream big so you can be the most happy person once the dream comes true!!!

See you during my new adventure as a

Career & Life Coach.

All the best and thank you for your support and kind words during past 4 years.

Stress reducing activities – Gardening

Being responsible for a house daily activities, your kids, husband and above all of that dealing with professional life,  searching for clients (in case you decided already to start your own business) or simply searching for a job, can be very much time consuming and stressful at the same time.

Recently I have discover the joy of balcony gardening. I adding the word balcony as I am not a gardener at all (usually, unfortunately all my flowers die on me), and I do not have a garden, only a small balcony.

I decided that I wish to live healthy and therefore I wish to have self grow herbs and veggies. Adding to it I decided to grow some colorful plants / flowers to simply be happy while looking at them.

First I was stressed, that they were drying or not growing as fast as I would like them to grow. But then I was so happy harvesting the first little tomato or little strawberry – adding it to my salad or simply immediately putting it to my mouth. It’s totally different feeling to have something which came from your work and that smell and taste – you will not get that in any shop (well not anymore).

Best feeling ever, yet childhood memories come back as being a child I have spend lots of months at my grandparents garden helping them with everything surrounded (I remember not enjoying the activities very much as of course they were mostly my duties / tasks than simply fun actions). Now I look at it with nostalgia and wish those days would come back.

Well life goes on and we are getting older and hopefully wiser.

One thing I can pass on to all of you – spending a day inside your home, on balcony or if you are luckily enough in your own garden taking care of your flowers, herbs, veggies, fruits take your busy mind far away from all the worries and stress. Even whole day of the hard work makes your back feel the pain, it is so much worth it. As you actually spend a day doing something special for yourself. Put a nice music, have a sip of red (my favorite) wine and simply enjoy every moment of it.

And the most important be creative, it really does not matter where will you place your plants. For example each time I am taking care of my little, balcony garden I am putting my plants in a different order, different places, changing the flower pots – that way it is not boring and each time I have a new, more beautiful and stress free place to relax and rest.

More important after such activities you are positively energized to go back to daily routines.

What Women Want – for sure to be healthy, stress free and happy

I have never won anything, till last couple of weeks I actually won twice. First I won two tickets for ‘’The BorderKitchen’’ – I do not even know what it is as I had other plans and gave up the price so somebody else could enjoy it.

But then few days later, I have received an email that there are possibilities of winning a ticket to the ‘’What Women Want Next’’ fair. Sounds interesting, I am a woman and even though I know what I want, I would like to know more what other women wants so I can be a better coach.

I did not apply for an email as I thought: ’’ya, right only 10 tickets to go, I will never stand a chance’’. Than few days later a new email came that there are additional 20 tickets if anybody wants. I thought: ’’well, this time I do not have anything to lose, and above that friend of mine had a birthday and it will be a great addition to a present I have had for her’’ , so I wrote an email that I would like to have 2 tickets if possible (not even believing the odds I will get an answer).

And today I took my friend to Utrecht and we had a great girls day out together at the fair.

I do not know about you all, but I certainly believe that things are happening for a reason.

As the last trip to Poland, I just decided on the spot I needed to go. And that was how I was able to say goodbye to my uncle who had a cancer and passed away few weeks after I returned to The Netherlands. I was lucky enough to spent some time with him, to talk to him and to say goodbye (even though it does feel surreal and not true – even now having tears and not believing it has happened). Couple years back we also lost a wonderful women (Kati) she was a sunshine in every possible way – the cancer took her away. My other uncle fight the cancer  – and we shall all pray that this enemy will never ever come back again.

Why am I writing about this, it suppose to be happy, motivating and cheering so all of you stressed with your job search, at your homes with your partners or screaming kids could feel better and cheer up. Well, this is important as every 10th or even less person faced the reality and closeness of the cancer in their inner circle. Not everybody talk about it as it is painful, for some shameful for some still unbelievable.

However, we do need to talk about it – we need to face it how life can change within a minute and how we can lost somebody we care for and not even be able to say goodbye. We shall see what is more important in our lives. For me for sure spending more time with those who I love. Trying to reduce stress and doing more fun, relaxing and do pleasurable things alone and / or together with those you care for not only brings you together, it also give you a wonderful memories of that time, and also will reduce a possibility of getting sick (in any way) as stressful life is the most dangerous enemy to ourselves.

I need to be stress free and I wish you to be as well. I need your help to stay positive and I hope you will take my help to be us such.

If you have a chance, Google ”The Big C” series, definitely worth watching, to become familiar with the topic but at the same time see it a different way.

I met today a beautiful, strong woman – who let her bold (from a cancer) had to be painted in the most beautiful pattern of the white orchid in order to promote the case of the cancer campaign,  in order to make others in her shoes to feel special. I eat her breast looking cupcake, and I brought home her little orchid – I hope it will grow strong. She and others are making a special calendar for 2013 with women as herself to make them stronger and more positive.

I so love this idea that, myself I would like to help as much as I could, and therefore this time a bit sad but still positive post on my blog.

Please visit her website to find out more and maybe help.   Thank you!!!

This post is for the memories of my uncle and Kati – let rest in peace – with Love.

Dream Job of Hayley Johnson

I met Hayley somewhere during the summer of 2010. We immediately decided that we do want to do business together (we organized and run ”Job Interview Workshop”). I also attended one of her English Business Course as she is a brilliant English teacher at her own company English Breeze (normally I am always bored during the language classes, at hers I was very much looking forward to join and participate). During the time, we have became friends. That was the best present of attending the networking event: gaining a smart, charm full and always helpful friend.

You got a job! & than…

So you finally got a call and made appointment for an interview. What a relive, somebody finally recognized your talent. Somebody finally gave you a chance you deserved.

That is true you got a chance, however there is still a long way towards having the job.

• First you need to fight with your own stress to calm down and present yourself in the best light.

• Secondly, you need to make a fabulous first impression, remember first 10 to 30 second will give the interviewer all what he/she needs.

• Furthermore, you need to answer lots of strange, crazy, difficult and sometimes uncomfortable questions, maybe even face a whole panel of interviewers.

Let’s say you managed to pull it all well and you got a green light.

You got a job, you sign the contract – Congratulation – you definitely deserved it. Well done.

But this is not the end, the journey just begin and you still need to work hard to have the job. Remember, signing the contract does not mean anything. Most of the time you will have from 2 weeks to even 6 months probation period when you can closed the door and never come back if the job does not meet your standards and your needs, but the same can do your employer. If you do not work hard and if you do not pay attention what is happening on the work floor and what kind of relations are in the company you may not be there yet.

Be on time – is it obvious, however most of us think : ‘’oo ya, I am safe now so what they can do to me, 5 minutes will not make such a different’’ right…

Ask question when needed (best try to find out who can be the best resources of ‘’company knowledge’’ and befriend them).

Don’t be afraid to ask for help, we are all humans and we do need to learn first in order to perform better and more sufficient. The fact that you came on the same position you have been working for the past 10 years does not mean that it is done in this company as it has been done as you know it.

Make friends with receptionist, secretaries and office suppliers as they do know who is who and where to go in case of the emergency.

Be polite and respectful towards everybody, person who clean your desk every morning or evening deserves as much appreciation as you boss. You all are a team and you all work for a benefit of the company so at the end all of you can received your salary (ok, agreed not always relevant and fare but still money is money, and you can bring food to your home).

So, you still like your job. Your boss from time to time make your life miserable, but at the end of the day he/she smile and tell you: ‘’good job, well done…” . You like your colleagues. Your work seems to be boring from time to time, but when it’s get challenging and stressful you are pulling it off and all is as you dream of.

Finally the probation period is over – you can stay and do whatever you wish for. Is that really true?

Does your behavior change after probation period, when you know your position within company is secure enough? If so how and why…?

I will welcome your input and personal observation of your colleagues behavior …
